Past Experience
As Cameco’s engineering executive, Noel was responsible for oversight on Cameco’s worldwide Nuclear Portfolio. In this role he provided executive Leadership to the development of numerous Nuclear R & D and technology development projects, as well as several corporate acquisitions. Noel supported the technical aspects of a significant business restructuring including a significant production increase for Cameco’s subsidiary in Kazakhstan.
Noel is recognized for his expertise in Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), where he has developed strong relationships with Indigenous People(s), Utilities, Manufacturers, Government and other players in this emerging industry. Noel has spoken at several conferences, written papers and supported policy development at both the federal and provincial level on SMRs.
